Project Details

This project included construction of a new classroom addition and renovation of an existing small gym. RVW’s architects consulted with the Owner to implement a construction schedule whereby the new addition would be built while the old classroom area was still in use. Construction of the new classroom addition was completed in August 2009, ready for the fall semester. The old area was then demolished. Completion of the gym remodel was completed in December 2009. The entire facility is covered with an automatic fire sprinkler system. A “hardened” area was constructed to provide a storm shelter.
