Project Details

A 10 million dollar bond election held in March 1999 was successful. The bond will fund two elementary schools, Centennial and Emerson. Emerson Elementary school will be a two-track, two-story, masonry building. A tight site led to the two-story design. After completion of construction, the existing Emerson school building was demolished and the site reclaimed for play area.
