The Maintenance Facility building provides workshop areas, equipment storage and service vehicle parking for the Districts building and grounds maintenance department. The building also serves as the District’s warehouse for all paper products and educational materials and provides indoor parking for the Districts bus and activity van fleet. The pre-engineered metal building with slab-on-grade construction includes interior floor drains in all bus and equipment parking bays. The building is protected throughout with an automatic wet and dry pipe fire sprinkler system. Private and open office areas, employee breakroom and toilet facilities are included in the floor plan. Reinforced CMU walls and a concrete ‘cap’ at the Men’s and Women’s toilet rooms provide on-site storm protection for the buildings occupants. Chain link fencing completely encloses the rock and concrete parking paving on the 2.1 acre site.
